A project to build a new school in Kenya, has sent a team of brave volunteers to the skies in a bid to raise funds.

The seven strong team from Lloyd’s brokers and independent financial advisers, Lucas Fettes and Partners, will be taking part in a parachute jump in a bid to raise money for the “To Kenya with Love” project.

Hoteliers, bed and breakfast owners and those in the hospitality industry will now have access to a unique newly launched insurance product, specifically designed for the industry. 

 “Concierge” is an exclusive product set up in partnership with Lucas Fettes and Partners, and the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce and will be available to all hotels, bed and breakfasts and businesses within the hospitality sector that are IWCC members.

Senior placing broker, Kevin Dower has joined insurance and financial specialists, Lucas Fettes and Partners as part of their continued expansion.

The appointment comes only weeks after Lucas Fettes received their provisional Lloyd’s accreditation and the takeover of HMB Limited, signifying the group’s commitment to growth.

Insurance and financial specialists Lucas Fettes and Partners have strengthened their financial services department with the appointment of a new business centre manager.

John Davenport, will lead the firm’s Manchester office financial services department. His new role will cover a broad spectrum of financial services, from corporate pension schemes, employee benefits, investment advice and individual financial planning for high net worth individuals.
