David Fettes Steps Down After 27 Years

David Fettes has just retired after completing over 27 highly successful years of developing the Lucas Fettes Group in conjunction with its co-founder Robin Lucas. Howard Cox, formerly of Baker Tilly Financial Services Ltd, has been appointed as Managing Director of financial services.

Howard is well known as an industry innovator, and is passionate about the development of a professional, fee-based financial services industry. He will be concentrating on the continued development of the company from within both existing and new markets. In taking on the role, he will be expanding on the lead given by David Fettes from the earliest years of the Group, which has been operating for over ten years on the basis of developing a recurring income stream through the servicing and satisfaction of existing clients.

Group Managing Director, Robin Lucas, retains overall responsibility ensuring the business continues to thrive, develop and diversify. David Fettes will continue to have a consultancy role within the Group.

Lucas Fettes has long been recognised within the general insurance and financial services industry for the quality of its business, and for the quality and competency of the people it employs. The Group will continue to grow through expanding relationships with other professional practices, concentrating on providing tailor-made solutions to meet the needs of both corporate and personal clients.
