“Concierge” launch protects Island’s hotels

Hoteliers, bed and breakfast owners and those in the hospitality industry will now have access to a unique newly launched insurance product, specifically designed for the industry. 

 “Concierge” is an exclusive product set up in partnership with Lucas Fettes and Partners, and the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce and will be available to all hotels, bed and breakfasts and businesses within the hospitality sector that are IWCC members.

David Sedgley, account executive of Lucas Fettes explains: “We decided to launch this scheme with the IOW Chamber, as we felt there was a gap in the hospitality market for a genuine professional insurance service that had a true understanding of the needs of hoteliers. 

“This new product is all about quality and longevity, and we aim to provide comprehensive cover, without unnecessary policy add-ons that bring little or no real benefit to the end user.”

The island currently boasts over 200 businesses in the hospitality sector, accounting for around 19 per cent of the Island’s employment.
