Lucas Fettes strengthens financial services

Insurance and financial specialists Lucas Fettes and Partners have strengthened their financial services department with the appointment of a new business centre manager.

John Davenport, will lead the firm’s Manchester office financial services department. His new role will cover a broad spectrum of financial services, from corporate pension schemes, employee benefits, investment advice and individual financial planning for high net worth individuals.

Formerly with business advisory services company, DTE, based in Bury, John brings with him over 20 years experience in the financial services market. In his previous role he focused on corporate pensions, retirement planning and inheritance tax work.

The 42-year-old from Heywood, comments: “What first attracted me to Lucas Fettes was it’s enviable market reputation, mixed with its fast paced, dynamic and forward thinking environment.

“In Manchester, we’ve doubled in size over the last few years, and last month we received Lloyds accreditation. It’s a great time to be joining the firm, and I’m looking forward to growing the team and increasing our offering to the financial services market.”
