In addition to the above we are also able to arrange an open cargo facility in which the client can provide to his customer an option to insure worldwide sendings on an ‘All Risks' basis as per the standard marine clauses. Policies can be arranged on-line enabling the client to provide terms to their customer in a fast and efficient manner whilst minimising administration costs and time.
We provide policy wordings for Road Hauliers, Warehousekeepers, Couriers and Logistics Operators to cover their legal liability for loss or damage to goods whilst in their care custody and control, in accordance with their Conditions of Carriage.
The standard wording has no restrictions or exclusions regarding types of goods carried and includes errors and omissions, consequential loss, all risks cover on third party containers and/or trailers, drivers personal effects. Physical loss or damage to owned and/or leased trailers, containers and similar handling equipment can be included. Policies can be extended to include any enhanced contracts undertaken.
Cargo policies can be arranged to cover movement of own goods on a worldwide basis on individually tailored policies to reflect the clients needs.
Stockthroughput Policies may be more suitable to those clients who are involved in both the transit and storage of their goods which can all be arranged under one policy, providing them with seamless cover under one simple to administer and cost effective policy, with one insurer.
Policy wordings are tailored to meet the client's individual requirements but as standard they will include Exhibition and/or demonstration risks, samples or spares in representative's vehicles. Returned Goods, Debris Removal, Buyers and Sellers Interest Contingent cover, storage at any location including own, third parties and retail outlets.
